This unique, over-the-top malted milkshake uses delicious Biscoff cookies in three different ways. First, a few tablespoons of Biscoff cookie butter is spread around the top edge of the milkshake glasses. Then, they are rolled in crushed Biscoff cookies to create an edible decorative rim to the monster milkshake.
Inside the glass there is a drizzle of caramel sauce and a sprinkle of flaked sea salt. This not only adds visual interest to the milkshake, but it's also fun to scoop up some of that salted caramel as you enjoy the dessert.
The milkshake is blended with vanilla ice cream, more Biscoff cookie butter, malted milk powder, and a dash of cinnamon to enhance the spices in the cookies. Finally, the glass is topped with a mountain of whipped cream and then drizzled with even more caramel sauce. Some toffee pieces are sprinkled over the top for added crunch. Then two whole Biscoff cookies are the crowning glory on this ultimate milkshake.
The milkshake can be enjoyed first sipped through a straw, but is is also a good idea to have a long spoon on hand to scoop up every last bite. These tasty milkshakes are perfect for sharing with two straws, but they are so delicious you might just want to keep it all to yourself!
“This milkshake is absolutely delicious. I loved the addition of malt powder, but you can feel free to customize this milkshake to your preference. This is a true showstopper!” —Tracy Wilk

Steps to Make It
-
Gather the ingredients.
-
Spread 2 tablespoons of the Biscoff cookie butter around the top edge of each milkshake glass. Roll each glass in the crushed Biscoff cookies so they stick to the cookie butter.
-
Drizzle the inside of each glass to taste with the prepared caramel sauce. Sprinkle the caramel drizzles with some flaky sea salt. Place the glasses in the freezer to set until you are ready to prepare and serve the milkshakes.
-
In a blender combine the milk, ice, ice cream, cookie butter, malted milk powder, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth, or until the milkshake reaches the desired consistency. Add additional ice cubes to thicken the milkshake or add additional milk for a thinner consistency.
-
Divide the malted milkshake evenly into the prepared glasses.
-
Top each milkshake with a tall swirl of whipped cream, a hearty drizzle of caramel sauce, a sprinkle of toffee pieces, and two whole cookies. Serve immediately.
